Monday’s Meander/Photos: Gabriel Community Garden

Entrance area to the community gardens.
My main vantage point–outside the fence. But I can shoot over it!

I am not a member gardener and the gate was locked this time. But that didn’t exclude me from enjoyment of all that could be seen, smelled, touched on our hot summer afternoon exploration Please enjoy some of what we admired! (All photos are mine-please share but attribute to me, per 2019 copyright.)

A wonderful sight–bees must stay busy doing what they do!
Note the beads intertwined.
Lovely, neat lettuces.

Note the close-in shot of apple trees, upper right hand corner of above three photos.

Shed area. Maybe one day I will join in the fun– and the work!
Hopeful of fresh tasty lettuce…

    1. There were a couple flowers or vines creeping out between fence wire, and I think a couple plants shot roadside. The fence enclosing the gardens was nearly five feet tall–I am a couple inches taller than that! So I could shoot over well enough. I quickly squeezed in one spot, as well, to snap a picture before feeling nervous as a trespasser, though no one was visible nearby!

I'm happy to hear from you! Tell me what you think.
